Use AI as a Mirror, Not a Map
Sometimes clarity isn’t about finding answers — it’s about hearing yourself think.
You don’t need AI to tell you what to do.
You need it to show you what you’re already trying to say.
Here’s the simplest clarity prompt I use when I’m stuck:
🗣️ “Hey, I need to talk something out. Can you just reflect what I’m saying and help me find the key themes or emotions?”
No need to overthink it. Just open a new chat and start typing your mess. Let AI mirror it back to you. Not solve it. Not give advice. Just reflect.
If you’ve ever wished for a non-judgmental sounding board that doesn’t interrupt — AI might be that for you.
And yes, I know that sounds weird. But I’ve used ChatGPT to process:
why I feel burned out
what I really want from a project
whether I’m avoiding something because of fear or boredom
⚡ Try this:
“I’m going to rant for a second. After I’m done, tell me what I seem to care about most.”
Then start typing. Trust me — you’ll surprise yourself.
💬 Ever used AI like this?
Drop a quick note and let me know how it went.
