The “Make This More Fun” Prompt
Bored by your own ideas? Let AI remix your message, your format, or your tone — without changing your voice.
Sometimes, you know what you want to create…
But when you sit down to do it? It feels flat.
Predictable. Boring. Like something you’ve seen a hundred times before.
This is especially common with ADHD — because we thrive on novelty.
If it doesn’t feel fresh, we lose interest fast.
And then the project gets abandoned… again.
🧠 Here’s a fix I use all the time:
“Can you help me make this more fun, surprising, or engaging — while keeping the core idea intact?”
You’re not asking AI to rewrite your message.
You’re asking it to remix the format, the tone, or the vibe — so you want to finish it.
🎭 The “Make It More Fun” Template
Here’s the go-to prompt structure:
“I want to share this idea: [paste your message or bullet points]. Can you give me 3 ways to present it in a more fun or unexpected way — like a list, a short story, or a weird analogy?”
You can even add:
“Keep it in my voice — casual, human, and slightly quirky.”
💡 Real-Life Example:
Let’s say you want to write a post about how ADHD makes routines both helpful and impossible.
Instead of a typical paragraph, try this:
“I want to talk about how routines help me, but I always break them. Can you write it like a dramatic breakup letter between me and my planner?”
AI might reply:
“Dear Planner,
It’s not you, it’s Tuesday. I swear I loved the color-coded layout. I meant it when I said I’d call. But I got distracted, and now we both feel abandoned…”
Suddenly, you’re into it. The dopamine’s back. You want to keep writing.
🛠️ Why This Works
ADHD brains often need emotional engagement before executive function kicks in.
AI helps you find the fun in the idea so your brain says, “Okay, now I’m interested.”

Literally anything you’re creating
💬 Try this today: take something you should create, and ask AI to make it weird, playful, or punchy — without losing the heart of what you’re saying.
Let it surprise you. Then run with it.
